Miracle, a miniature pig, only uses his front legs to walk around his breeder's property in Colorado. (Photo: Colorado Cutie Pigs)
ELBERT, Colo. — Miracle the mini pig lives up to his name in every sense of the word. The miniature pig, born to breeders in Colorado, was born almost simultaneously with his sibling, which may have caused Miracle to lose the use of his hind legs. Within minutes of his birth, however, Miracle learned to walk using just his front legs.
Miracle's owner said she knew right away this pig was a fighter.
Miracle's adaptation has allowed him to keep up with his five siblings, not only around the farm, but also during feeding time with their mother. Miracle's owner just got a new tiny wheelchair to help him move around more easily.
A GoFundMe page has been created to help pay for Miracle's ongoing care.
