Craziest Reactions to 2017 Oscar Best Picture FAIL2:42

Clean-up on aisle Oscar, I repeat clean-up on aisle Oscar please! Oh yeah, that was exactly what Price Waterhouse Cooper was doing last night and this AM after one of the BIGGEST Fails in Oscar History! So, if you haven?t heard yet, La La Land was incorrectly announced by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway for Best Picture when in actuality Moonlight won for best picture! During the tail end of all the heartfelt speeches from the La La Land cast and crew, that?s when it was announced ?Moonlight? was in fact the BIG winner of best picture, NOT LA LA LAND!! And man oh man did the internet just go absolutely freaking insane over this ?Oh Sh*t? moment! The Hollywood Reporter added the Michael Jordan crying face to Gosling and Stone?s characters on the poster for ?La La Land? and stated the obvious: ?Massive Best picture mistakes becomes Internet gold.? Kristie L used this candid shot to say, ?When everything goes to hell #Oscars.? Meryl?s face, I cannot handle it!!!! Miss Universe is now seeing the funny side to Steve Harvey?s epic fail a few years back and tweeted: ?Have your people call our people. We know what to do!? Of course everyone jumped at this opportunity to poke fun at this year?s election and throw shade at POTUS! Family guy creator Seth McFarlane said, ?You know what the problem is ? Millions of Academy members voted illegally. Most nights, I have a dream in which just happened at the #Oscars actually happened on election night.? Yeah, it was brutal and surprisingly @realDonaldTrump hasn?t said A WORD!!!! I hope he?s doing okay, health wise, this is very much unlike him. So now that this has gone down in history, PWC the company in charge of tallying Oscar votes released this statement: ?We sincerely apologize to Moonlight, La La Land, Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture, the presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred.? So Warren and Faye, you?re clear of all charges for conspiring to make LaLa Land this year?s best picture! Also, we know you were just doing your job, standing there and lookin? pretty! Even past nominees commented on the trainwreck? ?Selma?s? David Oyelowo told USA Today: ?I would not wish that situation on my worst enemy, That was a tough way to find that you lost and a tough way to find out that you won.? This is true, but you know what winning 6 of the 14 awards you were nominated for isn?t a bad way to go out, and let?s be real, the underdog MUST come out victorious from time to time, and that?s exactly what happened last night! What do you think about this epic mix-up, are you pissed La La had it?s golden statue taken away, or ecstatic for Moonlight? Let me know in the comments below!

RYAN Gosling’s reaction to the infamous Oscars’ Best Picture gaffe was undoubtedly one of the best.

A photo of him giggling into his hands went viral in the aftermath - and the La La Land star has finally explained exactly why he found it so funny.

“What really was happening as I was watching — it was surreal anyway — I was watching people start to have this panicked reaction in the crowd, and guys were coming on with headsets, and I felt like someone had been hurt,” the La La Land star said at the Adobe Summit.

“I thought there was some kind of medical situation, and I had this worst case scenario playing out in my head,” Gosling, 36, continued. “And then I just heard, ‘Oh Moonlight won,’ and I was so relieved that I started laughing.”

Still, the situation was serious enough for the two PricewaterhouseCoopers accountants in charge of handling the envelopes to get axed, and it may have potentially cost a producer of the show a promotion.

“But truthfully, I was also so thrilled that Moonlight won, I know the director,” he said. “I’ve worked with them before. It’s such a ground breaking film, made for a million dollars, and incredible achievement and I’m so happy for them that they were being recognised.”

Earlier this month, the president of the film academy revealed the two accountants responsible for the debacle will never return to the Oscars.

It followed previously unseen photos surfacing, showing one of them tweeting backstage in the moments which led to the envelope mix-up.
