FADI Fawaz will soon have an opportunity to lift the lid on life with tragic music legend George Michael.
The Sun reports the heartbroken photographer, 43, is in line for a £1 million ($1.7 million) book deal according to a new report in the Daily Star.
A publishing insider told the paper that there’s interest on both sides of the Atlantic — and bidding for Fawaz’s story could be huge.
They said: “Fadi is the person who has been closest to George for years.
“And as the person who found his body, they know a book by him would be sensational.
“Their offers could easily go as high as £1m.”

The book is expected to reveal Fawaz’s final hours with the Wham! star, who was found dead at his Oxfordshire home on Christmas Day last year.
Fawaz was the last person to see Michael alive on Christmas Eve at the star’s home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
He has never spoken about what happened that night — or explained why he ended up sleeping outside the house in his car as Michael lay dead inside.
Posts on Fawaz’s Twitter account shortly after claimed the star had taken his own life.

But the death was attributed to heart and liver problems, although results of toxicology tests that delayed the funeral were kept secret.
Fawaz is also expected to reveal all about his feud with Michael’s friends and family, who tried to ban him from his funeral last month by keeping details secret until the last moment.
The Australian was seen arriving at the ceremony in a cab moments before his nearest and dearest said a final goodbye last month.
Michael’s former long-term partner Kenny Goss, 58, attended the 2pm service and later arrived at the private wake carrying a bunch of forget-me-nots.

But on-off lover Fawaz only made the funeral after being tipped off by a Sun photographer — and was then not allowed at the wake.
Michael was finally laid to rest on Wednesday alongside his beloved mum Lesley, who died of cancer in 1997.
The funeral was held 94 days after the star’s death at Highgate Cemetery in north London.
Fawaz has been branded a “gold digger” by some of Michael’s camp, with some going as far as to claim that Michael had been trying to dump him for years but was too unwell to fully shake him off.

He was forced to defend himself, releasing a statement explaining that his tragic loss had left him looked at as a “monster” rather than a grieving devoted partner.
In a statement, Fawaz said: “Since George died I have read and seen some bad things written about me that I did not understand.
“Often I did not even recognise myself or the life we had together.
“Since my partner died (who I loved very much and always will) the world turned against me just for finding him dead in bed.
“I became a monster overnight, with lots of made up stories.

“I always refuse to go into the details of our life but I can tell you that many of the things being said are simply made up lies and very far from the truth.
“We had a good life together and were companions in the good and the not so good times.”
As well as the cash from the tome, Fawaz would make extra money from magazine and newspaper serialisations, TV appearances and film deals.
The insider added that talk of the book had been kept quiet until after Michael was laid to rest so that they didn’t appear “tasteless and money-hungry”.
