FEW people can resist a sneaky singalong to Dionne Warwick’s iconic hit I Say A Little Prayer and the singer has the 1997 movie My Best Friend’s Wedding to thank for that.

The classic rom-com, which starred Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney and Cameron Diaz, featured a classic scene where the entire wedding party sings the 1967 hit in the middle of a restaurant.

While Julia Roberts didn’t actually sing in the movie and instead looked at her fellow diners in disbelief, the actress got in on the singing this time, almost 20 years after the movie debuted.

The 49-year-old actress was at the annual Lancome’s Stars & Wonders gala alongside her friends and fellow Lancome ambassadors Penélope Cruz and Kate Winslet.

Cruz led the singalong at the event, posting an Instagram video of herself singing with Winslet and Roberts.

Roberts seemed to be absolutely enjoying herself as she sings and dances along to the tune.

Cruz also posted a photo of the three actresses at the event, captioning the shot “Last night with these amazing ladies #juliaroberts #katewinslet #lancome Thank you #alexandervauthier for the beautiful dress.”

Roberts has had an extremely busy week.

As well as recreating the iconic scene, the actress was also named PEOPLE Magazine’s “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” for a record fifth time.

The 49-year-old actress has previously claimed the cover spot in 2010, 2005, 2000 and 1991 and joked that she’d be using the title against her good friend George Clooney.

The actor has only received the accolade of Sexiest Man Alive twice.

“I’m going to mention that in my Christmas card to the Clooneys this year,” she said.

My Best Friend’s Wedding is constantly lauded as one of the best and most classic romantic comedy films of all time.

The movie went on to gross US $300 million at the box office and was in the top 10 biggest films of 1997.

The movie soundtrack also charted at number one on the Australian ARIA charts.
