Lindsay Lohan loses tip of finger in boating accident

LINDSAY Lohan has undergone surgery to reattach part of her finger after she suffered a gruesome injury in a boating accident.

The Hollywood actress chopped off part of her digit after catching it on an anchor and she was admitted to hospital where doctors raced to reattach it, The Sun reports.

She admitted there was a search to find the missing part of her finger before surgeons were able to sew it back on.

Lindsay has been jetting all around Europe this summer, soaking up the sun in a variety of exotic locations.

However, her adventures came to a dramatic halt when she was involved in the nasty accident.

She shared a picture of her bandaged finger in a post on Snapchat, and revealed she had undergone surgery.

Lindsay wrote: “I almost lost my finger from the anchor … Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger …”

Despite enjoying numerous holidays this summer, it has been a troubled time for the former child star as she split from her fiance, Russian toyboy Egor Tarabasov.

The pair ended their engagement following a vicious bust-up in on a beach in Greece.

They were pictured grappling on the sand in a frightening showdown.

Lindsay and Egor, 23, became engaged in September, and after their breakup she went public with sensational allegations that he had been abusive towards her.

She is now believed to be dating restaurant and bar owner Dennis Papageorgiou.
