Temperatures might be a bit chilly right now, but that makes these spots a perfect destination for winter travel. These 53 cities will be feeling the burn in a few months with the highest average summer temperatures from 1980-2010 compiled by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Climactic Data Center. Planning a trip for later this year? Be sure to pack a lot of suntan lotion and some shorts, cause these places will get hot. Oh, and we threw in an extra bonus non-city spot that averages the hottest temperature in America over the summer. Any guesses?
Editors Note: The 1980-2010 temperature data averages from the NOAA are the latest available at this time.
