BBC presenter makes unfortunate gesture live on air.

A BBC __news presenter made an unfortunate gaffe while live on air during reports of the terror attack in London.

During a breaking __news broadcast on the attack, presenters revealed they would be airing an eyewitness account from the scene of the incident, reports The Sun.

The studio went on to play a clip completely unrelated to the events in question.

When producers realised what had happened, the feed cut back to the presenters, where one could be seen wildly gesturing with the “cut throat” motion in a desperate bid to warn bosses.

After being told she was back on air moments later, she appeared to mouth, “I’m sorry” at the cameras.

Social media users took to Twitter to blast the unfortunate gaffe.

Cal wrote: “BBC News in absolute chaos over Westminster and Parliament attacks. #PrayForLondon.”

Matt Newman shared a video of the news clip, writing: “BBC News fail #westminster.”

Reacting to his tweet, Tom Gibbons wrote: “I don’t think people really care about this at this moment in time!”

Meanwhile, Patrick The Murph said: “This is so unfair. The wrong TV was on which she was trying to get taken off and didn’t know she was on screen.”

Lord Ninnycock tweeted: “It’s called a blunder for a reason.”

At least four people including a police officer have died and numerous others are injured after a 4×4 mowed down a dozen pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before a knifeman stormed Parliament and stabbed the officer.

At least 20 people were injured, including three other police officers.

The attacker, who was wielding knives, was shot by police after launching the terror attack in the capital.
