Former MKR contestant Ash Pollard has been voted out of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of here!
ASH Pollard has cooked her final meal of beans and rice in the South African jungle.
The former My Kitchen Rules contestant has been sent packing from the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! camp after lasting five-and-a-half weeks on the Channel Ten reality show.
“Spaghetti bolognaise,” Pollard squealed, realising she will be able to eat her first proper meal outside the jungle.
“I am so disappointed but I am so happy. It is totes my pleasure guys, best of luck.”
Given her history with food, Pollard quickly became the resident camp cook and denied giving herself larger portions than the rest of the celebrities when she served the small amount of food they were given.
“I never pocketed any, I would hate to get busted for that,” she said. “In saying that I guess you could say maybe because I would always take the last spoonful of porridge in the pan and put it in my mouth or I would taste the food before it was served but that was purely from a quality, testing perspective.”

Nazeem, Kris and Ash discuss the complexities of camp life2:38
On I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! Ash Pollard, Nazeem Hussain and Kris shared a touching conversation when they discussed the difficulties of camp life. All agreed that while the jungle experience has been challenging and at times confronting, the experience has been a life-changing one.

Pollard expects Steve Price to take on her cooking duties now that she’s gone and there’s just six celebrities remaining in the jungle ahead of Monday’s grand final episode.
“I did take in some contraband that I never got caught for,” she said. “Ear plugs, I hid one in the front of my boot, I hid some in my mattress and then in my bra as well. I can’t sleep without them in at home, I need the room to be dark and silent. That was my number one thing, without them I don’t think I’d have been able to sleep.”
Pollard, who previously competed on Dancing with The Stars, was known for speaking her mind in the camp and made no apologies for it.
“That is one of my best qualities and my worst in that I tell the truth straight up,” she said.
One of Pollard’s most memorable lines was a heated discussion with Bachelor villain Keira Maguire when she claimed she hadn’t had her lips done for more than 18 months.
“If she thinks those things aren’t obvious, they were fresh straight up pumped before the jungle,” said Pollard, herself admitting to having had botox. “Keira was literally tripping over her lips as she walked in to camp. It was that obvious.”
Each contestant is competing with the aim of securing $100,000 for their chosen charity with Pollard raising awareness for Beyond Blue.

As for who will win the series, she tipped singer Casey Donovan.
“I’ve got dibs right now on Casey, I want her to win purely because I think we need a queen of the jungle.”
