AS Casey Affleck accepted his Oscar for best actor, the star-studded crowd rose to their feet and gave him a standing ovation.

But Brie Larson, who presented Affleck with his statue, did not clap once.

The actress stood on the stage with her arms by her side in what many assumed was a silent protest against Affleck, an actor who was accused of sexually harassing two women in 2010 during the filming of I’m Still Here.

Both cases were settled out of court for an undisclosed amount and the allegations have tainted Affleck’s reputation in Hollywood ever since.

And Larson, a vocal advocate for victims of sexual assault, was applauded by fans for making it more than clear how she felt about Affleck’s Oscar win.

Now almost two weeks after the Academy Awards, the Room actress was asked about the incident at the premiere of her new movie, Kong: Skull Island.

“I think that whatever it was that I did onstage kind of spoke for itself,” she said to Vanity Fair.

“I’ve said all that I need to say about that topic.”

You can sense the tension, can’t you.
