You might hear it from your mum, and now you will probably hear it from your waiter next time you are sipping on your latte on a Sunday at Cornucopia.
The cafe, at the NT Museum and Art Gallery, is fed up with serving zombies being sucked into gadgets.
Manager Aziz Wan Don said he wanted families to involve themselves in real conversation at his restaurant.
“The main idea is for families to connect,” he said.
“They need to enjoy their days together. Technology is taking over our lives ... it’s actually quite funny when I take meals to the table.”

Mr Wan Don said his childhood revolved around sitting around the table to talk about the week on a Sunday.
“The next week I’d say, ‘Dad, I have a problem with my pocket money – I want a pay rise’, and he would say, ‘Well then you need to work harder’,” he said. “It was like a family meeting.”
If you are caught at Cornucopia with a phone, tablet, Nintendo or any other device – whether on your own or on an awkward date – you will be asked to place $2 in the naughty jar.
“If you come in by yourself, there’s the NT News to read,” Mr Wan Don said. “You’re welcome to use (devices) but it’s going to cost you.”
Naughty jar donations will be given to a local charity dedicated to families.
