SILVERCHAIR is dead, long live the very sexy solo Daniel Johns, who revealed his debut solo single Aerial Love today.
The song signals a sensual, soulful new sound for the former rock frontman who finally launches his solo career after putting his band into mothballs four years ago.
Johns tapped Grammy Award-winning producer Joel Little, the New Zealand sonic architect who helped craft Lorde’s cutting-edge debut, to help him craft Aerial Love.
“Ooh, I’m ready,” Johns sings to kick off his next musical chapter.

Johns is yet to reveal his tour plans to launch his solo efforts.
