LINSEY Godfrey, a star of The Bold and the Beautiful, has undergone surgery after being hit and pinned underneath a car that mounted the footpath.

Godfrey, who plays Caroline Spencer Forrester on the CBS drama screened on the Ten Network, was walking in Los Angeles when the car mounted the footpath and hit her after it was struck by another vehicle.

The 26-year-old Godfrey was pinned underneath the vehicle before being pulled free once an ambulance arrived.

She underwent surgery on her legs.

“Linsey’s currently out of surgery, her injuries are to her ankles. Fortunately she does not have two broken legs as reports say. Her doctor say that she is expected to make a full recovery,” a spokeswoman told Highlight Hollywood.

“She’s very lucky to get away with such minor injuries in a situation like this.”

Website TMZ reported that police had said Godfrey had broken both legs.

The spokeswoman was unable to say when Godfrey would be able to return to the set of The Bold and the Beautiful.

“We are not sure right now. We’ll know more tomorrow, but she will be fine, and she sincerely appreciates the fans and their loving support and prayers, and wants to thank them for their concern.”

Neither driver of the vehicles involved had been arrested at time of publication.
