Johnny Depp marries Amber Heard at home in LA

JUST weeks ago, they were said to be on the verge of breaking up. But now Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have tied the knot in a secret ceremony at their Los Angeles home.

The couple had previously planned to marry this weekend in true celebrity style — on the actor’s private island in the Bahamas, Entertainment Tonight reports.

But the nuptials were brought forward and they wed at home in a romantic evening ceremony.

Depp, 51, met 28-year-old Heard on the set of their 2010 film The Rum Diary when she played his love interest.

They were not romantically linked until Depp split with longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children, in June 2012.

Depp has been married once before, to make-up artist Lori Anne Alison from 1983 to 1985.

The Pirates of the Caribbean heart-throb — who is currently starring in spy film Mortdecai — has dated some of the world’s most beautiful woman, including Winona Ryder and Kate Moss.
