IT SOUNDS like a story to inspire a country music hit.

Australian country music star Mollie McClymont was nursing the heartache of the end of her relationship and looking for a date in Sydney. Aaron Blackburn was the man she met on Tinder that random night who will now be her husband.

About 18 months after that first meeting via the dating app, Blackburn surprised his beautiful partner with a proposal by Sydney Harbour in December.

The surprises kept coming when he lead his bride-to-be to a nearby restaurant where their families were waiting to celebrate.

“I was a blubbering mess; it was such a beautiful day,” Mollie said.

Australia’s favourite singing sibling trio Mollie, Sam and Brooke McClymont, have had much to celebrate in recent months.

Sam married her long time beau Ben Poxon in November and the sisters picked up two Golden Guitars in January for Best Group and Highest Selling Album.

Like any good country music album, Here’s To You & I documented their lives — Brooke embracing motherhood with the arrival of daughter Tiggy, Sam’s impending marital bliss and a the time, Molly’s post breakup heartache.

Mollie says she can find it tough singing the breakup blues every night now.

“Aaron and I bought a house together six months after we met,” Mollie said.

“Of course you feel every song you write and sing but I look at it differently now, that it’s something everything goes through, but I don’t feel that way now.”

The McClymonts head out on a national four-month tour next week, kicking off in Sydney at the Dee Why RSL on Friday.
