BRIDEZILLA’S will have one less thing to worry about on their big day with a luxury travel company guaranteeing perfect wedding weather.
However, the service doesn’t come cheap costing clients just short of $200,000.
The exclusive service offered by Oliver’s Travels takes over three weeks to plan and employs the talents of pilots and meteorologists.
To guarantee a sunny wedding day, the company enlist a team of professionals who ‘seed’ clouds with silver iodide.
The chemical works by forcing the clouds to rain so that the sky is clear by the time of the wedding date.
In a blog post on their website, Oliver’s Travels claim cloud seeding is considered a mainstream tool.
“New technology and research have produced reliable results that make cloud seeding a dependable activity.”
The company also ensure clients that no environmentally harmful effects will arise from the use of silver iodide aerosols.
“The activity of cloud seeding has been taking place since the 1940s and there is no evidence that suggests it creates any significant negative environmental impacts on the environment,” they wrote.
The service is currently only available for venues in France, although the company hopes to expand this in time.
