OSCAR nominee Julianne Moore has revealed what she was thinking when she slapped Madonna and why her favourite on-screen sex scene was with another woman.
The 54-year-old Oscar nominee starred with the Material Girl in the 1993 film Body of Evidence in which Moore played the wife to Madonna’s mistress.

In one scene where Moore was called on to slap the Vogue singer, she recalls that Madonna didn’t speak to her leading up to the confrontation.

“I was super nervous. I was so, so nervous,” she told Watch What Happens Live. “I didn’t actually make contact. It was a fake slap, but she wasn’t talking to me because she was being kind of method-y doing her thing so I felt nervous and scared. I didn’t want to hurt her at all.”
Moore said she wasn’t upset that Madonna didn’t speak to her on set.

“She’s always been very nice to me other times. This was just on this movie, so I was very scared of her,” she said.
Moore, who has shared the screen with heart-throbs such as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mark Ruffalo Colin Firth and Mark Wahlberg, said her favourite sex scene was with Annette Bening in The Kids Are All Right.

“The one with Annette [Bening] under the covers,” she said when asked about her sexiest on-screen moment.
Moore is the early favourite to finally take home and Oscar for her performance in Still Alice.
