Earlier today, workers busily erected protective covers outside the carpet outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel, bracing for the possibility of rain.

GOLDEN GLOBES 2015: Winners, speeches and highlights from the show

But rain, hail or shine, the show — and party — must go on. Earlier today, those helping cover the first event in 2015’s awards season were busily preparing for the night.

E! News presenter Giuiliana Rancic, a veteran of red carpets, posted a selfie from inside her dressing room before revealing outfit number one of the night.

And her new Fashion Police colleague Brad Goreski also shared a look at his get-up — a dapper, navy Louis Vuitton suit.

Before the main event, some celebrities playing fictional stars arrived — the cast of the Entourage movie, filming a scene for the big screen adaptation of the hit TV series.
